One bose customer believes the company is spying on consumers. Kyle Zak has filed a proposed class-action lawsuit to stop the practice. Zak alleges Bose uses its wireless headphones and companion Bose Connect app to violate the US Wiretap Act. He believes the company is “secretly collecting, transmitting, and disclosing its customers’ private music and audio selections to third parties.” In the lawsuit, Zak says our musical preferences reveal a lot about people’s personalities and political leanings. The suit wants to stop Bose’s disregard” for customers’ privacy.
