When most people think of Omaha, Nebraska they probably imagine NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, sizzling steaks, or billionaire Warren Buffet. But a group of clergymen are hoping the city can become a place known for peacebuilding and interfaith dialogue. A reverend, an imam, and a rabbi have been partners in a decade-long pursuit called the Tri-Faith Initative, hoping to bring together the three faiths to worship and share the same property. The $65 million project was launched in 2006 and it could be the first time in the US that the three faiths choose to worship side by side intentionally.
