FBI Believes Missing Illinois Student Was Kidnapped

View 1 more image (Newser) – The Champaign County, Illinois branch of Crime Stoppers is offering the biggest reward in its history in the search for a visiting student from China who disappeared more than a week ago. Yingying Zhang, a 26-year-old who was a month into a yearlong appointment at the University of Illinois, was last seen getting into a black Saturn Astra at the Urbana-Champaign campus around 2pm on June 9, NBC reports. The FBI is treating the case as a suspected kidnapping and is offering a $10,000 reward in addition to the $40,000 Crime Stoppers is offering for information leading to an arrest.
