Ivanka Trump’s Clothing Company Ethics Is Being Questioned

An investigation by The Washington Post has revealed that Ivanka Trump’s fashion line does not fall along her father’s “America First” agenda. According to their research, Ivanka’s company outsources jobs to foreign factories such as Indonesia and China “where low-wage laborers have limited ability to advocate for themselves.” The Washington Post also argues that her company is not transparent of their code of conduct in relation to issues such as child labor. Even if they did hold a code of conduct, they have no system in place to check if it is actually being followed abroad.
