The death of former North Korean detainee Otto Warmbier has rocked the political atmosphere, in particular the impact his death will have on the already distressed relations between the U.S. and North Korea. The Associated Press reports that the Cincinnati coroner’s office is now investigating Warmbiers death. A spokesman for the Hamilton County coroner announced Tuesday a press conference will be held providing more specific details surrounding Warmbiers death. Wambier’s parents released a statement on Monday but did not mention a specific cause of death. The 22 year old was unresponsive when he arrived in the U.S. doctors said he had suffered a “severe neurological injury” of unknown cause.
