U.S. judge Wilhelmina Wright has blocked a planned release of new Prince music. The music was set to release on the first anniversary of his death this week. on Wednesday, The Minnesota district court issued a temporary injunction barring the release of the EP “Deliverance.” This came after Prince’s estate argued the recordings broke a confidentiality agreement between Prince and his former sound engineer, Ian Boxhill. Boxhill was also ordered to hand over all “original recordings, analog and digital copies, and any derivative works” to Prince’s estate.
